World of Warcraft Upgrade Item Guide
The Upgrade item is used by trainers to transform Porygon2 into Porygon2. This transformation requires an upgrade and a Sinnoh Stone, and 50 Porygon Candy.

Upgrade components
Upgrade components can be added to armors, weapons trinkets, gathering tools and weapons. They offer an added benefit or impact while the equipment is being used. They can be purchased by players or vendors, looted or obtained as rewards, or created by crafting materials. Upgrade items can be cosmetic effects as well as providing attribute bonuses.
Infusions, inscriptions, and enhancements are a type of upgrade component. They are not generally available for general use, and are only available to ascended equipment or some non-ascended weapons from the Factions campaign. Infusions, inscriptions, and enrichments can be retrieved from equipment with an Infusion Extraction Device. They can also be saved using a Black Lion Salvage Kit or Ascended Salvage Tool.
Phoenix Boxes unlike other upgrade products, can be traded and re-used while still attached to the item they are upgrading. These upgrades are the most effective way to improve quality of armor and weapon without spending Dilithium in the sense that they increase the odds of receiving a quality upgrade by two times.
A component that is upgraded in an item can be replaced by another but it is not able to replace the original one (except for upgrades to legendaries and equipment with ascended levels). Upgrade components can only be added to upgraded items that have an identification level of zero or higher. Adding item upgrader to an item that is already equipped with a suffix or prefix upgrade will display the name of the resulting item in the same way as it appears in the game (for instance adding an Radiant Insignia to Canthan Armor will cause it to be referred to as Canthan Armor of Minor Vigor). A player can have up to 3 upgrade items at any one time.
Glyphs
Glyphs can be an excellent addition to any item. They offer unique benefits and boosts. Some Glyphs increase the number of affixes that an item has, increasing its effectiveness. These glyphs can be obtained by completing dungeons. Some are even found in certain World Tier 3 zones. It is important to keep in mind that glyphs are only available to players who have created a root-dungeon with the same depth.
To make use of a Glyph you must first create it using components, and then connect them via anchors. The component will then automatically align to other components or paths within the same layer. If you don't want to create the glyph using components, you can build it by using a combination of paths and anchors. Drag an element in the direction of the component that is highlighted to hold it into place.
Some glyphs require certain conditions to be met like 25 Dexterity in a specific area on the Paragon Board. Some glyphs require a specific number of Primary Stat Nodes to be activated, which can be a challenge to attain. Some glyphs also have a radius, which increases as you level it up.
Glyphs can be applied to various weapons and items, with the exception for those belonging to a specific class. Some of these glyphs have additional conditions, such as an amount of damage to Dexterity or Attack damage for a specific part of the Paragon board.
The Defend Glyph boosts the chance of blocking enemy attacks by 5percent. It also has the chance of 15% to make the Hero vulnerable for two turns.
Some glyphs may also be used on limited use tools, like the Black Lion Chest and Trading Post. The addition of these glyphs will be counted towards the Combat Mechanic achievement.
The most popular glyphs are the attack glyphs, which boost the ATK substats of Artifacts with a flat value. They are especially beneficial for ranged classes like Warriors and Rogues. Other glyphs include the Exploit Glyph, which makes enemies who strike the Hero vulnerable to damage.
Reroll tokens
Reroll tokens can be used for rerolling a result rolled during an Action. They are removed when the reroll occurs. Reroll tokens can be gained in several ways, including through raids, dungeons, and skirmishes. They can also be bought at the shop or from other players. They are especially useful in dungeons and trials, as they allow players to reroll rewards from the bottom of the chest.
For items that are at level 1 there are recycling points. The upgrade gauge will increase by a certain amount of points when you recycle an item. This number will increase based on the item's level and rarity. Additionally the upgraded item will not keep its level after rerolling and the cost for recycling an upgraded item rises with its level.
Alternatively, a player can make use of reroll tokens to make an upgrade item rerollable however, this won't bring the item back to its original level or provide the original stats. This is a great option for those who wish to reroll a piece of equipment that they don't like but want to keep in their collection.
Three types of upgrade coins are available in the game - the reroll, the randomly generated, and upgrade. Each type comes with its own subtypes. To use rerolling tokens, select "Reroll Token" by right-clicking the Satanic or Angelic items in your inventory. Select a type of token. The tokens that are available include Item Weapons, Misc, 1hguns, 2hguns and Focus. The Item token can be used to create a brand new Item in any quality.
